Action Alert: Help Ban Cosmetic Pesticides in New Brunswick!

The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment is campaigning for a lawn-pesticide ban in New Brunswick, and they need your help!

Even if you live outside the province, it is important that Canadians work together to ban pesticides across the country.

WaterLife Documentary

Check out Kevin McMahon's award-winning feature documentary, Waterlife, a Canadian film which tells the story of the Great Lakes, the last vast supply of fresh water on Earth.

The film explores the mixture of toxins and pollutants threatening the health of the Great Lakes, and the impacts this may have on the survival of surrounding ecosystems and populations.

Dryer sheets and fabric softeners are commonly used products that often escape the scrutiny of Canadians.

Heavy Metals in Face Paint

Routine testing by Health Canada has found heavy metals in children’s face paint exceeding proposed government standards. Unfortunately, there are currently no regulations to enforce these limits.
