Daycare Centres for a Bisphenol A - free environment

Bisphenol A is a toxic chemical that has been shown to cause numerous adverse health effects. To ensure a healthy life for all Canadians, daycare centres should make the commitment to protect the children who rely on them everyday.

BPA is found in clear, hard thick plastic, such as in water bottles and baby bottles.  It is also found in the linings of some food cans.
